Second, I thought the most fascinating take was about the idea of being past representational discourse. And at first I was like YES. And then I was like, oh yeah. Representation isn't for me, the out lesbian. It's for the closeted kids who don't even realize that being me is an option. But do I want them having *this show* as the representation?... No, but luckily it's not the only option. But going back to the idea that we, the out queers, don't **need** accurate, authentic representation in media, I like that idea a lot.
