Welcome to this week’s dispatch from the lesbian internet, a mid-week news roundup from Paging Dr. Lesbian, exclusively for paid subscribers. If you like this type of thing, tell your friends to subscribe.
Big news for deranged sapphics everywhere: we’ve gotten our first look at the new Dead Ringers series, which stars lover-of-lesbians, Rachel Weisz. The series is based on the 1988 Cronenberg film of the same name, which stars Jeremy Irons. If you’ve seen the film, you know it’s going to be extremely disturbing and also gay – by way of twincest, of course. It’s time to get weird!
Other big news: It was recently announced that Kristen Stewart will be playing iconic lesbian writer Susan Sontag in a new film directed by Dick Johnson Is Dead documentarian Kirsten Johnson. I love this casting! It remains to be seen who will play Sontag’s longtime partner, photographer Annie Leibovitz. Also, Stewart’s fiancé Dylan Meyer posted a sweet Valentine’s day post about how much she loves Kristen.
Speaking of Valentine’s day, Harley Quinn’s Valentine’s Day Special was probably the horniest episode of animated television I’ve ever seen and serves as proof that superheroes (or villains) needn’t be sexless robots. Also, beauty queen wives Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentín did an over-the-top Valentine’s day photoshoot and were featured in a Fenty ad.

Read this open letter from NY Times contributors condemning the paper’s coverage of trans and non-binary people. Non-contributors can add their names as well. Screw the NY Times, and I mean that.
Kylie Jenner kissed her “best friend” on Instagram and called her “forever valentine.” And we thought Kendall was the gay one.
Hear from queer indigenous musician Black Belt Eagle Scout about their new album, which is great.
Attachment is a new horror movie about uhaul lesbians and Jewish folklore. I give it 7/10 stars and would only kind of recommend it.
