Our favorite rebel movie star, Kristen Stewart, took the red carpet at Cannes last week, breaking fashion rules and bemoaning the current state of Hollywood. She wore a see-through Chanel ensemble along with sneakers — running afoul of the Cannes dress code once again. (High heels used to be required at Cannes, a rule that Stewart previously flouted. Flat-heeled shoes are now allowed for women, but sneakers are banned.) She wore a red Chanel look in the evening, pairing the look with black sneakers. In an interview with Variety, Stewart expressed her dissatisfaction with Hollywood studios, noting, “My goal is to make something for really nothing with my friends before the end of the year and put it on fucking YouTube.” Not one to mince words, she argued that there should be “less making billionaires more fucking billionaires.”
